Steve Hall, a retired hunter ed administrator from Texas and NBEF board member, led the trainings for dozens of instructors. These training sessions were requested because of increased interest for more in-depth bowhunting knowledge. The instructor class attendees were agency staff involved in hunter ed, the R3 department, and National Archery in the Schools Program state employees.

“NBEF offers training opportunities for instructors so they can confidently share their knowledge and passion for bowhunting with students,” explained Marilyn Bentz, NBEF Executive Director. “We’re pleased to report an increased need for bowhunter ed classes and instructors. And we’re extremely fortunate to have individuals like Steve Hall and others available to conduct instructor training and certification when needed.”
