If you know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, or if you just want to help the cause, you can now participate in arcHER’s Pink Balloon Challenge, or rather, “Aim for a Cure”. Similar to the ALS ice bucket challenge, the Pink Balloon Challenge is attempting to raise awareness for breast cancer by encouraging people to upload a video of themselves doing something and then nominating others to do the same.

To participate in the Pink Balloon Challenge, take a video of yourself arrowing a pink balloon and committing to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, then tag arcHER on Facebook. Like the ice bucket challenge, you can then nominate those you know to complete the challenge. arcHER is also selling “Aim for a Cure” shirts at their marketplace. The challenge will end on December 31 and has been going on since October 1. Currently, their goal is to raise at least $1,000 by the New Year, but since they’re at $980 already, there’s no doubt that they’ll reach that, and more.
