The Burt Coyote Co. made the Extinguisher to provide shooters with a way easily turn off their Lumenoks and remove deeply imbedded arrows with ease using the same device. The polymer grip surrounds the arrow and Lumenok at the same time. As the archer wiggles the arrow, the polymer is compressed on one side and then the other. The compressed material pushes the Lumenok slightly rearward, breaking its contact from the rear of the shaft. That leaves the Lumenok’s rotation unchanged from shot to shot.
