Mr. Gallagher has been actively involved in the outdoors industry for over 4 decades and has played an instrumental role in the evolution of tree stands and related hunting products. Tom retired recently from Cabelas where he served as the Senior Director of Merchandizing. He currently works for Independent Hunting, LLC which is owned by Fred and Michele Eichler and serves on the Board of Hunter Specialties. Tom previously served on the Board of both the Archery Trade Association (ATA) and the Treestand Manufacturer’s Association (TMA). Tom’s impeccable background and unwavering passion for promoting safe treestand use make him an excellent addition to our Board.

TSSA is an evolving non-profit organization of hunting industry leaders focused on significantly reducing treestand incidents through promotion, education, and best practices. Treestand falls are the leading cause of serious injury and death to deer hunters and are virtually all preventable.
