January 2026 – The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is excited to announce that Apex Gear will become the newest Medal-Level Sponsor of the world’s largest youth archery program.

Apex Gear, as part of GSM Outdoors’ broad portfolio of outdoor and shooting-sports brands, brings a strong heritage of product excellence and innovation in archery equipment. Their decision to expand their support of NASP® underscores a shared value of empowering youth, promoting participation in archery, and growing participation across communities.

“This partnership marks an exciting step forward for NASP® and our mission to bring archery, life skills, and positive youth development into schools,” said NASP® President Dr. Tommy Floyd. “We deeply appreciate Apex Gear’s support and commitment to helping us with post-secondary scholarship opportunities for our student archers. Apex Gear is the type of partner we hope our student archers discover as they take those next steps into the outdoors.”

The NASP® 2024 Student Survey showed thousands of student archers are seeking pathways to the outdoors. Launched in 2026, the exciting new NASP® 3D program, with the addition of 3D scholarships, has brought a great deal of excitement to the program, creating renewed opportunities for sponsors to support its 1.2 million student archers.

“This new support from Apex Gear not only provides scholarship opportunities but also that critical link to new outdoor pursuits for NASP® student archers as they develop their own pathways that can lead to hunting and other shooting sports, further supporting wildlife conservation efforts across the country,” said NASP® Vice President Jeff Rawlinson.

“We are proud to be a sponsor of the NASP® program,” said GSM Senior Director of Marketing Josette Colver. “We’re helping students fulfill higher education dreams while connecting thousands of student archers to the great outdoors and these time-honored traditions that continue to inspire future generations.”
