The 2015 ATA Trade Show started with a huge bang Wednesday night as Outtech held it 17th annual Innovations, a fun-filled event that routinely draws several thousand industry members including dealers, media, and manufacturers into an environment where hot deals and networking are always on the menu. Delicious hors d’oeuvres and a performance by Tyler Farr kept the massive audience entertained well into the evening.

The first morning of the Show kicked off with lots of exciting new products and deals. In particular, Bowtech’s product “unveiling” drew quite an audience as hit artist Colt Ford took the stage inside the Bowtech booth for a performance before Jim Burnworth, Eva Shockey, and Jim Shockey announced the latest offerings from Diamond, Stryker, and Excalibur. The well-attended event ended with the entire Bowtech staff–as well as Burnworth and the Shockeys–hurling dozens of Bowtech t-shirts into the mob of dealers. One lucky dealer found a ticket for a free Bowtech RPM-360 bow inside the shirt they caught.

National Deer Alliance (NDA) hosted a press conference that lasted from 5-6:00 p.m. The conference featured speakers like ATA President Jay

McAninch and Will Primos of Primos Hunting, and it was a highly informational gathering in regard to the efforts NDA is taking to preserve whitetails, mule deer, and blacktails both now and for future generations.
Day one saw mobs of dealer traffic on the Show floor, and it ended on a high note with Hudalla Associates’ Customer Appreciation event, which was very well attended. Stay tuned for more updates on the 2015 ATA Show.
