Wednesday night, a fire broke out at Martin Archery’s plant in Walla Walla, Washington, around 9:30pm.
KVEW, a local news station, learned from employees at Martin that a machine shop crew was working in the factory when the fire started. All employees are safe, but there’s no word on how the fire started.
A statement from Fire Chief Rocky Eastman to the Associated Press early Thursday morning says the fire is under control and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby brush.
Our thoughts go out to everyone at Martin Archery and the community in Walla Walla. We are glad everyone evacuated safely.
