PSE elite pro shooter Nathan Brooks needed to shoot one last 11 to win it all and when it was crunch time he delivered big with his Decree HD, shooting 21 up with 26 total 11s to take the Men’s Pro crown at the 2016 IBO World Championships. This was another epic win for Brooks, who also took the Men’s Pro championship at the ASA event one week earlier.
Hot on Brooks’ heels was PSE elite pro shooter Tim Gillingham, who took 2nd place shooting 20 up with a whopping 28 total 11s! While Gillingham may have settled for silver in the Men’s Pro Championship, he was selected as 2016 IBO Shooter of the Year, adding another impressive feather in the cap of an archery great.
Brooks and Gillingham weren’t the only two PSE shooters to bring home big prizes this weekend though, as Team PSE’s Jerry Mullet also won the 2016 IBO Male Bowhunter Open Class championship. All in all it was an amazing weekend for Team PSE, home of some of the best archers in the world.
