The 3 Star Tour Draws to a Close

First Dakota Classic: PSE Archery

It started in Las Vegas. From the Vegas Shoot, archers traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, and then on to Yankton, South Dakota, for the final stop of the 3 Star Tour, and the annual First Dakota Classic.

Tournament Champion isn’t the only goal worth aiming for at the First Dakota Classic. Archers who participated in all three legs of the tour are eligible to shoot for $10,000 cash prize or a brand-new car! This year’s winner of the $10k shoot-off was Braden Gellenthien. Like past winners, he took the cash.

The female champions were Sarah Lance, who took first, Erika Jones with second, and Lexi Keller with the third-place prize.

But this year’s first-place winner and Tournament Champion is PSE shooter Chris Perkins. With a new event record (1199 out of 1200) Perkins was just one arrow shy of a perfect score and $1 million prize. Perkins still earned the title of Tournament Champ, and made an impressive win for Team PSE.
