The Archery Trade Association (ATA) is proud to announce Colin Berg and M.J. Rogers as the recipients of the 2025 ATA Impact Award. The winners were revealed on January 8 during the 2025 ATA Industry Celebration, presented by Mossy Oak, in recognition of their dedication to promoting archery and bowhunting and inspiring others to participate in the sports.

“We are thrilled to honor these exceptional individuals for the profound influence they’ve had on both the archery industry and the sport as a whole,” said Jeff Poole, ATA president and CEO.

ATA Impact Award Recipients:

Colin Berg | Morrell and Archers
Berg dedicated 32 years to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC), including 26 years as education supervisor. Throughout his career, Berg helped introduce archery and outdoor activities to hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans. Under his leadership, more than 500,000 individuals participated in ODWC-led fishing programs, 260,000 hunters completed hunter education, and over 500,000 students engaged in educational initiatives. These included programs like NASP, Explore Bowhunting, Explore Bowfishing, Scholastic Shooting Sports, and the Oklahoma Fishing in Schools program.

Berg currently serves as the National Youth Development Director for Morrell and Archers and continues to support ODWC through grant writing and fundraising, including securing a $250,000 grant from the Easton Foundation.

M.J. Rogers | Archery Resources Center
With three decades of experience as an archery coach, Rogers has traveled the globe promoting the sport and coaching at the highest levels, including the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Paralympic Games. He has coached Team USA to six World Field Championships and one World Indoor Championship title.

Rogers has been a tireless advocate for archery, teaching and spreading awareness of the sport in South America, Asia, and Europe. He was instrumental in launching the National Archery in Schools Program in five states and has focused on working with both able-bodied and disabled athletes. His dedication to adaptive archery led to the coauthorship of the Adaptive Archery Manual, a resource supported by Disabled Sports USA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which has been distributed internationally.

The ATA Awards Program, established in 2020, recognizes individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the future of archery.
