Scott Gizowski, president of Ethics Archery in North Carolina, explains the revolutionary technology behind its Spinning Insert, and the philosophy that drives hunter-minded product development and cleaner bow-kills:
Ethics Archery was born of necessity. The idea behind it is to design products that provide quicker, cleaner kills on animals we hunt. After many years of research and development, we finally worked out the bugs around version seven. We know the Spinning Insert will revolutionize the arrow industry.
Many things produce cleaner kills, including better flight, accuracy and penetration. Each affects the other. The industry has tried its best to improve these aspects, but the Spinning Insert is the only product that improves all three. Our inserts let the broadhead rotate independently of the arrow, which improves flight by reducing wind planing. In turn, you get better accuracy. Better penetration comes from a longer delivery of force, and the broadhead can turn when hitting bone. This helps the arrow slip right through the animal. Many times the animal doesn’t even know it was hit, which greatly reduces its stress.
