The annual Nimes Archery Tournament beings today with official practice sessions and qualification rounds. The grand finals will take place this Sunday, Jan. 22. This marks the 19th instalment of the European Indoor Archery Tournament, and doubles as the third stage of the 2016 Indoor World Cup.

This year an estimated 1200 archers from over 40 countries will be competing with compound and recurve bows. The best 32 archers from each division will move on to the finals, where they will compete for the gold, silver and bronze medals.

One of the coolest aspects of the Indoor Archery World Cup is that it’s open entry. Archers need not be part of a national team or meet a qualification score. Accordingly, anyone up for the challenge has the chance to shoot side-by-side with the seven attending Rio 2016 Olympic medalists, including Brady Ellison , Ku Bonchan  and Chang Hye Jin (talk about tough competition).

In case you missed last year’s finals or want to see it for the first time, here’s a video of last year’s World Cup Finals in their entirety.

It’s also worth noting the amazing sponsors that help bring tournaments like these together and provide them with world-class gear. Here are the tournament’s master partners. Click on a logo below to visit that company’s website and learn more about their equipment and World Cup sponsorship.

World Archery will be live-streaming the action. Tune in here to watch your favorite archers compete for gold.

Also keep in mind: next stop, Vegas.
