Double Down
Double Down is the mix for the hunter who loves clover. Two white clovers, a red clover and chicory make up Double Down. All the clover is inoculated and covered to provide the nitrogen needed for growth. Suggested planting for this mix is from April – July, and it should be planted ¼-inch deep. With the little maintenance of mowing twice a year, this perennial will continue to produce for 3-5 years. Double Down produces half an acre of coverage.
Triple Threat
Triple Threat mix is for those that have a more broad leaf in mind but want the clover attraction. White Clover, Red Clover, Chicory and Rape Brassica make up Triple Threat. All of the clover is inoculated covered to ensure it has the nitrogen needed for growth. Suggested planting for this mix is April – July and should be planted ¼-inch deep. With little maintenance of mowing twice a year, this perennial will continue to produce for 3-5 years although after the frost, the Rape Brassica will die. After a few years of thinning, you can frost seed or top seed the Rape Brassica to get your original results. Coverage for Triple Threat is ½ an acre.
