QuietKat Celebrates Successful Deployment of E-Bikes for Boulder Police Department – Eagle, CO – QuietKat Electric Bikes, a leader in off-road eBikes and a Vista Outdoor Inc. (NYSE: VSTO) brand, is excited to announce the successful integration of our advanced eBikes into the Boulder Police Department’s patrol units. This partnership highlights the effective application of our technology in enhancing public safety and operational efficiency within community policing.
The Boulder Police Department has recently added QuietKat eBikes to their patrol fleet, deploying them primarily in the downtown corridor with plans to expand throughout the community. These eBikes, equipped with a special police package that includes custom graphics, lights, and a very loud siren, have proven to be a valuable asset in the field.
“The Boulder Police Department’s new eBikes have been a tremendous success. Officers on bikes have already made arrests, traffic stops, and drug seizures,” stated the Boulder Police on social media. “These eBikes are a great way to enhance public safety while being environmentally friendly. Tan lines aside, our officers love their ability to quickly respond to calls and remove dangerous drugs and other items from our streets.”
Each QuietKat eBike, costing about $8,000, is designed to meet the rigorous demands of law enforcement, providing officers with the speed, agility, and accessibility needed to effectively patrol and respond within the community.
