MIDDLEFIELD, OHIO – Today’s compound bow technology is the product of 72,000 years of evolution that gives modern bowhunters and archers options above and beyond yew and sinew. Yet, over the time equivalent of an ice age the purity of the function and fundamentals have remained the same. Though the invention of the modern bow case has had a much shorter existence under the sun, its evolutionary progress is not nearly as storied as the bow, in fact, the basic offering of shell and foam has remained frozen in time…until now.
The Formula™️ Bow Case delivers an unrivaled storage solution with the revolutionary Adjustable Bow Security (A.B.S.) System, a foamless chassis assembly that internally free-floats critical precision components — sight, cams, cables, and string — for contact-free preservation inside the case.
Rather than relying on interference fit between foam layers or problematic hook-and-loop straps, the shock-absorbing A.B.S. chassis format features integral tie-down spines that anchor risers using patented Nite Ize Mega Gear Ties to cement bows in place for protection perfection.
Adjustable Bow Security (ABS) System – Protection Repetition
Like the reliable “Sure Brake” system that has improved vehicle safety for 50 years, Flambeau Outdoors’s A.B.S. System is designed to provide unparalleled safekeeping when storing or transporting the critical precision nature of the compound bow.
The A.B.S. System features two chassis sleds with anti-slip shock absorbing membranes that fasten in place to accommodate limb width spans of different makes and models with an overall bow length under 40 inches or 43 inches with the accessory pouch removed. With only a bow’s limbs resting on the chassis sleds, the sight, cams, cables, and string remain free-floating. To lock the bow in place for transport, the Formula Case utilizes Nite Ize Mega Gear Ties, a powerful rubber-coated memory wire, that lock the riser down to spinal tabs on the sleds with a simple twist. The foamless system revolves around a hassle-free tiedown operation that unconditionally anchors a bow, rendering it absolutely immovable during transit.
The Formula Bow Case weighs only 17 lbs. when empty and measures 47” L x 20” W x 9.5” H. The extended depth of the case permits quivers to remain safely attached to the bow while in the case. To aid in simplicity, a removable accessory storage pouch provides ample space for storing complimentary essentials –stabilizers, range finders, releases, tools, and more.
Case Features
The Formula Bow Case also features an internal arrow rack for 8 spare arrows, an automatic pressure release valve, oversized over-molded handle, 6 over-cam throw latches, a weatherproof silicone gasket, tie-down slots for ATV racks, and lock holes for airline travel.
Anticipated retail $189.99.
