CLAY CITY, KY- GAS Bowstrings shooters showcased their skills at the Metropolis ASA tournament over the weekend, delivering impressive performances ahead of the upcoming ASA Classic in Cullman, Alabama.
Jacob Slusarz emerged as the ASA Metropolis Champion, achieving his first ASA title of the year. During the shoot-off, Slusarz needed a 12 to secure victory, hitting the mark and displaying his skill under pressure.
Paige Pearce demonstrated her skill and resilience, clinching second place during the finals shoot-off. Tied going into the final arrow, Pearce shot a decisive 14 on the black panther target, securing her spot on the podium.
Sharon Wallace defended her position, seeded in second leading into the shoot-offs. Wallace shot a strong ten on her final arrow to solidify her podium position.
Louis Price also delivered a strong performance, claiming third place after maintaining his seeded position through the shoot-off.
The Metropolis ASA served as a crucial last event for GAS Bowstring shooters, setting the stage for the upcoming ASA Classic. These athletes’ achievements underscore GAS Bowstrings’ commitment to excellence in competitive archery.
