The National Deer Alliance is seeking a motivated, experienced and highly qualified individual to serve as its president and chief executive officer.
The move comes one year after the NDA formed to become the unified voice of deer hunters and the guardian of North America’s wild deer, wildlife habitat, and deer-hunting heritage.
“A CEO is the final piece needed to move the NDA in the right direction, and I know our industry can help greatly in finding a strong leader,” said Jay McAninch, CEO/president of the Archery Trade Association and chairman of the NDA Board of Directors. McAninch said NDA Board members are key players who are passionate about deer and committed to their management. He said the NDA is off to a strong start, and he’s confident it will provide the support to ensure the new director’s success.
The CEO/president will report to the NDA Board, and be responsible for the NDA’s leadership, strategic direction, staff development and financial integrity. The person will be the NDA’s primary spokesperson on matters relating to deer, deer hunting and deer conservation at local, state and national levels.
